This is where you’ll get started with Facebook. In the video below, we’ll go over the basic steps for setting up a Facebook account.
We’ll also take a quick look at the Privacy Settings, and what they mean.
If you already have a Facebook account, you can skip this video and move on to the next section, where we will talk about setting up your profile.
During the process of setting up your account, you’ll have an opportunity to upload a photo of yourself. If you have a nice photo you’d like to use, you can upload it during the account setup. You can always change it later at anytime.
One thing to remember when uploading your photo – you’re building your brand here. Pick a photo of you that is nice and reasonably professional. Avoid logos or silly pictures. You can upload “fun” pictures to your photo albums later if you like. This one is for your profile and will be a fundamental part of your personal brand on Facebook.
